DIERK FILMER

Since 1960, Dierk Filmer has been expanding his product range on the German motorcycle clothing market. When motorcycling became a popular sport in the 1980s, he already had a large selection of motorcycle gear on offer.

He sold these self-designed garments under the culmination of his first and last name (DIFI) and did so in a store called MotoPort – also established by mister Filmer himself. Both the company and brand grew rapidly, which eventually resulted in expansion abroad.

In 1982, MotoPort expanded to the Netherlands and became the most successful motorcycle clothing franchise under Dutch management. Thanks to its wide range of products, excellent price-quality ratio, and continuous development, DIFI forms the backbone of this success.
